One of our locations.
Harare is one of our locations. It is where much of the work happens, and where the team is.
What happens here. Every agent, dashboard and content pipeline the studio ships is built in Harare. When a system needs somebody to sit with a depot manager and watch how the orders actually arrive, that happens here too. Most of what this studio knows about how small businesses really run was learned in this city rather than read about.
Why it changes the work. A business here operates under constraints that software built elsewhere tends to ignore: power that comes and goes, data that is expensive enough to count, WhatsApp as the primary business channel, and a customer who will phone rather than fill in a form. Building for that produces systems that hold up anywhere. It is the single biggest reason the studio's work survives contact with a real week.
The studio is small on purpose. There is no account layer in between, and nothing gets handed to a junior after the pitch.
Technical Cofounder and the studio’s primary developer. Builds the agents, pipelines and data layer. Former philosophy event organiser and TEFL teacher, and a TEDx speaker.
